Discover the remarkable journey of Islay Robinson, a former homeless youth who transformed his life into that of a millionaire mortgage broker.
Islay Robinson is no stranger to adversity. After being homeless, dropping out of university, and launching his business the day that Northern Rock failed, he has overcome more than his fair share of obstacles.
But despite bumps in the road, the 44-year-old is now a millionaire mortgage broker, with a company employing more than 40 workers internationally.
Robinson was named after the remote Scottish island his parents moved to when they were 21. But when the couple separated when he was nine, he and his mother relocated to Hounslow, in West London, living in sheltered accommodation for a time.
